The Acquire Continuous Button

The Acquire Continuous Button is used to start continuous slow-scan acquisition. Clicking on the button will open a window of the size specified the last time the Acquire Image Size command was issued. Acquisition will start the next time the microscope begins a frame. The button will change into a Stop button. Clicking on the stop button will stop acquisition at the end of the current frame. Normally acquisition will run continuously, overwriting previous frames until you press the stop or abort button.
