The Acquire Video Channel Command
The PCI/CFR / Video version offers the capability to switch among up to 12 video channels (6 for Y/C video).
To pick a new video channel, either choose the new channel from the drop-down list at the top of the video window or select the Acquire Video Channel Command.
The Video Channel dialog will appear. (If it does not appear when you choose a new channel from the dropdown list, it is because the user previously chose to disable the "Show these options for every channel change setting", which is described below. In this case, you can make it re-appear by using the Acquire Video Channel Command from the menu.
The channel drop-down list allows you to pick a different channel. It also allows you to change the name given to each channel. To change the name, select the channel that you wish to change so that its current name appears at the top of channel list. Then simply click the mouse on the name and change it as you desire.
You can associate each channel with different video settings, different instruments and different magnification calibrations. To do so, choose the appropriate items from the drop-down lists. PCI/CFR will remember the settings for each channel and recall them the next time the channel is selected if you check the "Make this the default setting for this channel" checkbox.
If you change the Instrument setting while you have a session open on another instrument, you will be asked if you would like to end the current session and begin another one with the new instrument.
