Explorer Dialogs

PCI/CFR's file functions make use of Explorer Dialogs. These dialogs give you access to many Windows Explorer functions, including deleting, renaming, copying and moving files and directories, from within PCI/CFR.

Viewing File Details

Selecting from the View Menu lets you choose how to display the file information. For example, by selecting details, you can display each file's type, size and creation date in addition to the file name. Clicking on a column heading in the details display will sort the list according to that column.

Note that you should not use the explorer dialog's right mouse functions to delete or rename CFR-compliant files. These functions will not update all of the files in the chain (i.e., all versions) and may not have the expected results. If you wish to delete files, press the Thumbnail button on the File Open dialog and use its delete button to delete the entire chain (see The File Open Command) for images that you select.
