The File Save Command

The File Save command is used to save an image to disk so that it may be retrieved later. If a particular file has been saved before, the File Save command will increment the version number of the file and save the changed data in a new file.

If the file has not been saved before, you will be asked to specify a file name via the File Save Dialog which is described in the The File Save As Command section.
