The Edit Enable Undo Command

The Enable Undo command toggles the Undo feature on and off (see the Edit Undo command, above)

When the undo feature is enabled, the computer must save sufficient information to undo the operation before it carries it out. This has the effect of slowing down all drawing and image manipulation operations. You may decide that the undo feature is not worth this slow-down in which case you should disable it. PCI/CFR will remember the last setting of this feature the next time you run it.

When saving the undo information, PCI/CFR first attempts to store it in the computer's memory. If insufficient memory is available, PCI/CFR then attempts to store it on disk. If insufficient disk space is available, PCI/CFR will warn you that the operation will not be able to be undone and will ask you to confirm whether you wish to proceed.
