Editing Functions

The Edit Menu provides commands that are used for manipulating the Windows clipboard and commands that let you undo other image manipulation commands.

The clipboard is a temporary storage location that is used to transfer images between applications and into new windows. Most applications, including PCI/CFR, provide Cut and Copy commands to move information into the clipboard and a Paste command to insert data from the clipboard into the application.

The Undo feature saves information about the state of the image immediately before image manipulation commands are carried out. By executing the Undo command after such a command, it is possible to reverse its effect and restore the image to the saved state.
