The Edit Cut Command

The Edit Cut command copies to the clipboard and then clears either the whole active image or the selected portion of it. Once the image has been copied to the clipboard, it can be pasted back into PCI/CFR (using the Edit Paste Command) and into many other applications. The portion of the image to cut is selected using the procedure described above.
