The Acquire Advanced Command

The advanced acquisition feature of the Slow-Scan system allows you to acquire up to three images simultaneously. Images can be acquired from one channel, two channels, or a mixture of both. The images can be acquired at eight bit or twelve bit resolution.

You can start acquisition either with the Acquire Advanced Command or by pressing the "A" button on the acquisition tool bar. Unless it has been disabled with the "Show these options..." checkbox (described shortly), the Advanced Acquisition Dialog will be displayed whenever you begin advanced acquisition.
