Digital Signatures

PCI/CFR allows members of the PCICFR-Sign group to digitally sign images.

The person signing an image can be either the logged-in user, or another member of the PCICFR-Sign group. This allows a logged in user to request a review of their work by another user without requiring the first user to log out.

The File Sign Command is used to sign images. The person signing is requested to authenticate with both user name and password and to provide a reason for the signature. It is possible to create a custom list of reasons and signing rules for your organization (see Configuration of the Digital Signature Functions).
