Configuration of the Digital Signature Functions

The File Sign Command is used to apply digital signatures to images. During this process, the user can select from pre-defined reasons for applying the signature. You can also set rules relating to signatures as described below.

The signature reasons and rules for your organization are set by editing the Reason.ini file with a text editor, such as Notepad. The Reason.ini file is normally located in the C:\Quartz Data\Data folder.

Reasons are entered into this file in the format shown below. You can define any number of signature reasons by creating a [Reason#] section for each reason.
