The Secure Repository

The Secure Repository is an option for Quartz PCI/CFR that allows you to store data saved by third-party software in a manner that helps support compliance with the 21 CFR Part 11 regulations. It can, for example, be used to store raw data from EDS systems or to provide access to data by external image analysis tools and will audit file access by these external systems.

The Secure Repository works by creating a "virtual disk drive" on your system. Files saved to this disk drive will be subject to version control and auditing. By default, this virtual disk drive is assigned drive letter "Q:", but a different drive letter may have been specified at the time of installation (see Configuration of the Secure Repository). Where this document refers to the Q: drive, it means whichever drive letter is configured for the Secure Repository on your system.
