The Zoom Tool
The Zoom Tool is used to zoom in on a selected region of the image.
To select a portion of the image to zoom, first choose the Zoom Tool from the tool panel. Then, press the left mouse button at one corner of the desired region and then drag the mouse, holding down the left button, to the opposite corner of the region. When you release the mouse button, the image will be scaled so that the selected region fits the window.
You can also zoom in and out by using the Ctrl + and Ctrl - key combinations or by using the Display Zoom In and Zoom Out menu functions
To revert to an unzoomed state use the Display No Zoom Command (or type Ctrl-N).
To fit the image to the window use the Display Zoom In Fit Window Command (or type Ctrl-F).
