The File Export Original Data Command

If you are using the Secure Repository Option, the system will store the original image acquired from an instrument in its original form. This would permit, for example, the instrument software to reload the image to carry out further analysis.

Images saved by instruments sometimes have more that one file associated with them (for example, the image itself and a separate, side-car file that contains meta data). The File Export Original Data command will export both files.

The File Export Original Data Command prompts you to specify the folder where you would like the original data file(s) to be exported. Once you have selected the folder, press OK and the file(s) will be exported.
