Storing Data from 3rd-Party Applications

The Secure Repository has the ability to track (i.e., maintain audit trails and version control for) files that are created or changed with third-party applications.

PCI/CFR will always track .TIF files. It will also track files whose extensions were listed as tracked files during the system set-up (see Tracked Files).

The Secure Repository virtual disk drive (the Q: drive) will be available on your system whenever PCI/CFR is running and a user with appropriate access rights is logged in. You can access the Q: drive within other applications and in Windows Explorer, and Tracked Files saved or copied to the Q:\ drive or subfolders of the Q:\ drive will be stored and tracked in the Secure Repository.
